I love the new Metallica album. Admittedly some bits more than others. Broken, Beat and Scarred has me nearly in tears as I love a good survival song. People are calling it a return to form.
Well no its not, they were never out of form. the thing about Metallica is right or wrong they go at it with 199% attitude and commitment. They just lacked the intention.
Thank fuck for Rick Rubin.
I'm now enjoying the giddy thrills of Thrash Metal all over again.
